(Phoenix, Ariz.) March 30 — Nationally acclaimed librarian Marshall Shore announces 

Arizona’s first library consulting enterprise focused primarily on placing new emphasis 

on out-of-the-box thinking Shore will champion and promote innovation in the nation’s 

libraries.  Recognized as a “Mover & Shaker” by Library Journal for innovation in 

libraries, Shore is uniquely qualified to offer his expertise and perspective. During his 

sixteen-year career, Shore has worked with public libraries across the country including 

The New York Public Library, Brooklyn Public Library, Phoenix Public Library and the 

Maricopa County Library District.

Marshall Shore holds a Masters of Library Science from Indiana University and a BA 

from Purdue University.  He is the only librarian to complete the Leadership Institute by 

Valley Leadership, the premiere leadership development organization in the Southwest, 

and currently sits on its Board of Directors.
